Programs similar / alternative Gnu-Linux vs Windows

This is nothing more than an urban legend, carried out by those who have an absolute monopoly and would like the death of open source. Course of a professional who uses Photoshop to work rather than Gimp, there is nothing to say, but all the others who use Photoshop to correct your own photographs or red eyes, I laugh, and make me think .... that if they had to buy it, the cocks that they would have used. The software you pay for, given that there are people behind that works there, or should rely all'opensource that it has so many programs, not forgetting that free does not mean free, because in this world there are professional programs for a fee.
